The problem is that it may be scattered across:

  • competing schools of thought;
  • research;

  • tools built for experts rather than ordinary learners.
Whiz.Life starts with the learner's need and works backward.
  • What should someone understand?
  • What can safely be simplified?
  • What deserves deeper examination?
  • What needs practice?
  • What should stay with the learner afterward?

Whiz.Life began with a simple frustration: for many of the things that matter outside formal education, we are expected to assemble our own curriculum.

Read a few books. Search the internet. Ask people. Watch videos. Compare conflicting advice. Work out what applies. Discover the gaps later.

Whiz.Life is an attempt to bring serious research, synthesis and instructional design to practical learning—without pretending that every question has one simple answer.
